A Letter From Patrick: "Heart To Heart" Is Finally Here

I am honored, humbled, and happy to announce that today is the publication date of my collaboration with His Holiness the Dalai Lama, Heart To Heart: A Conversation on Hope and Love for Our Precious Planet.

It is a timely call for a compassionate revolution. His Holiness has said, “It is my hope that this book will open the eyes, minds and hearts of all people... to the importance of kindness and compassion to our environment.”

I have spent my career promoting empathy and compassion for all beings and for our planet, and this book has been the apex of that work. . It has been the gift of a lifetime to be able to help create a story with the Dalai Lama — one that will spread his important, compelling message.

I thought of Dr. Jane Goodall often during the process of developing this book. Jane received an advance copy and said:
It is quite the most original, entertaining, and enlightening book I have ever seen — I don’t believe there is another like it. With the words of His Holiness and your enchanting illustrations it leaves a lasting impression. After reading it once, I was compelled to turn the pages again and again.
