We’re digging deep into our archives to reminisce on some of the sweetest, funniest, and most significant moments from the past two and a half decades of MUTTS!

Here are strips from the second and third weeks of MUTTS strips ever published, in which Earl the dog meets Mooch — that myshterious cat next door — and a few other neighbors, too.

I wish the rest of the world could get along like Mooch and Earl do. They make my day all the better. Happy New Year!!

Faced with daily doses of so much horrible “human” news, Earl and Mooch remind me that innocence, friendship (sometimes unexpected or unlikely), and sweetness are still part of our lives, even if they come walking on four legs instead of two. Thank you for this spiritual “life support” for my days!
