This bundle, introduced on Dr. Jane Goodall's 84th birthday, includes one copy of "Me...Jane" and one plush chimpanzee (based on Jane's beloved childhood toy chimpanzee named Jubilee).
"Me...Jane" is a Caldecott Honor-winning picture book by Patrick McDonnell that tells the story of young Jane Goodall and her special toy chimpanzee. As young Jane observes the natural world around her with wonder, she dreams of "a life living with and helping all animals" — until one day she finds that her dream has come true. With anecdotes taken directly from Dr. Goodall's autobiography, this very true story is accessible for the very young (and young at heart). It includes a bookplate that has been hand-signed by Patrick McDonnell.
The plush Jubilee toy (which measures 21" x 12") is made in the USA with 100% polyester shag fur and Minky fabric, 100% polyester fiberfill stuffing, and plastic (for the eyes). To clean, wipe with a damp cloth and then air dry. Machine washing is not recommended.

All the Mutts products I’ve purchased have been delightful and of high quality. I purchased this Jane Goodall set for a young niece and it was difficult to actually give it up to her! I just love the book - as I love everything that Patrick creates - and the quality of Juvilee is excellent! Larger than I expected, very well made, and so hugably soft! I just may have to buy another set for me.
