Description

This colorful MUTTS strip shows the moon and the stars. The comic reads, "The 'Moon Dogs' are at it again - monitoring all doggy transmissions from planet earth..." One moon dog is holding a clipboard, and the other is sitting in a chair operating a machine. The moon and stars are shown again. We then see one moon dog taking notes as the other continues to use the device. "Some are howls of sorrow, and some are howls of joy. Each one a deep longing for something," reads the comic. "Sir... I'm picking up a transmission that seems oddly different," says the moon dog who's operating the machine. The moon dogs look out their window to find another moon dog on the howling, "Ooowooeee," towards earth. Rover!" yells one moon dog.
