Patrick McDonnell is a painter, MUTTS cartoonist, New York Times bestselling author, playwright, musician, and animal activist. He has collaborated with the Dalai Lama, Jane Goodall, Eckhart Tolle, Daniel Ladinsky, and Marvel Comics.
"I've always been drawn to the raw beauty and kinetic energy of both comic art and abstract expressionism. My paintings celebrate the unexpected symbiosis of these two dynamic American art forms. Together they can express the deep dreams and wounds of our collective spirit."
