In the Christmas edition MUTTS strip, Mooch approaches Earl's doorstep and says, "I think there must be shomething wrong with me, Earl." They walk through the snow together and Mooch continues, "Christmas is coming...but I'm just not happy, I don't feel the way i'm shupposed to feel." Earl says, "Mooch, how can you turn a wonderful season like Christmas into a problem?" Mooch walks towards his house and tells Earl to come see something inside. They go inside and Mooch points at a tiny tree on the living room floor and says, "How am I shupposed to climb THAT!?!"
