Description
In his characteristic heartwarming style, Patrick McDonnell tells the story of the young Jane Goodall and her special childhood toy chimpanzee named Jubilee. As the young Jane observes the natural world around her with wonder, she dreams of "a life living with and helping all animals," until one day she finds that her dream has come true. With anecdotes taken directly from Jane Goodall's autobiography, McDonnell makes this very true story accessible for the very young — and young at heart. This item includes a bookplate that's been hand-signed by Patrick (exclusive to MUTTS.com)!

A great read.
Sandra
Patrick has done a magnificent job of conveying Dr. Goodall's love for animals in a way that children can relate to. Highly recommended.

Such a sweet book. A wonderfully written story about young Jane Goodall with brilliant illustrations. The book is well printed, no tears or creases on the book or dust jacket - and signed by Patrick McDonnell himself! Win - win!
