For the first time, you can bring home a museum-quality print featuring Patrick's original vision for the November 1, 1998, Sunday MUTTS strip, which kicked off the very first week of Shelter Stories!

In this "Color Guide" print, you'll see the little imperfections, smudges, and other marks that tell the story of how these comics came to be. They're fascinating glimpses into the making of MUTTS, and special pieces of comic strip history. These artistic prints are available in two sizes: 8" x 10" and 12" x 15".

What Are Color Guides?

Before the MUTTS funnies arrived in newspapers, they came to life at Patrick's drawing table. These "Color Guide" prints, straight from Patrick's personal archives, offer a rare look at the creative process, preserving Patrick's original inking and watercoloring, and his detailed color instructions that accompanied the artwork for newspapers.

(Each newspaper's printing process is a little different, meaning readers across the country may have seen slightly different versions of the very same Sunday comic in their local papers!)
