This MUTTS strip pays tribute to Gene Ahern's classic comic The Squirrel Cage. It shows Mooch and Earl riding in a small red car. "Look Earl, a hitchhiker," says Earl. They approach a man who asks, "Nov shmoz ka pop?" "Shorry," Mooch replies as he continues to drive pass the man. "I have no idea where this is going," Mooch says to Earl.

MATERIAL

Comic strip prints are available on 110 lb. acid-free cotton paper or on hand-stretched canvas.

DIMENSIONS

Standard comic strips are printed on 17” x 11” paper with an embossed seal. 

Opting for canvas printing? Because our canvas prints are stretched by hand and tailored to suit each image, dimensions can vary. In most cases, the final dimensions of a stretched canvas print are approximately 15” x 7” (unframed) and 16.25” x 8.25” (with framing add-on). 

The size of the actual printed image for a Sunday color strip is 14.5” x 4.5”. The image size for a daily black-and-white strip is 12.25” x 4”. This applies to both paper and canvas prints.

FRAMING

Our made-to-order frames are handcrafted by trusted local artisans using laminated wood and plexiglass.
