In this colorful MUTTS comic, published on the day before Halloween 2022, Mooch asks Earl: "What should I be for Halloween?" In the following panels, Mooch is shown wearing different costumes. He says, "A monster? A martian? A ghost? A witchiepoo? A dinosaur?" Earl responds,"Mooch, why don't you be something no one would expect?" Mooch says, "Yesh" and is then shown floating above the ground with an angelic halo over his head. He says, "A good kitty!"
