I’m happy to share some exciting news. Starting today, every purchase at the MUTTS Shop will help animals.
MUTTS has always been based on my love for the art of the comic strip and my deep compassion for all beings. Most of you also feel this kinship toward animals; this is primarily what our community is built upon. On social media, you share with us the joys of adoption and the deep sadness we all feel at the loss of a furry family member. And many of you have asked how MUTTS.com can do even more to help.
Starting today, 5% of your purchase goes directly to The Humane Society of the United States’ Animal Rescue Team. Our community knows how tough animals have it on this planet, and it is only through the efforts of the kindest people in the world that animals are able to survive and thrive.
As you may be aware, I am a member of the board of directors of The HSUS, something I am extremely proud of. This organization takes on the big challenges to make lives better for all animals. From helping dogs and cats, to saving chimps in Liberia, to working to end factory farming, to rescuing dogs slated for the meat trade, to changing laws — I could go on and on. They’re always there to stand up for animals. And they continue to make the world a better place.
The MUTTS team have created an FAQ page on this topic, as I’m sure you will want more information about how your purchases will have an impact. And they will keep you posted on news regarding The HSUS’ ongoing rescue work via the MUTTS blog posts and social media.
