As you may recall, back in April, Patrick and Team MUTTS invited readers to describe their experiences adopting or fostering during the coronavirus pandemic, either by drawing comic strips or writing about their furry friends.

Last month, we posted a few of the many creative and heartfelt drawings we had received so far. Patrick also shared a week’s worth of comic strip story descriptions created by author Glen David Gold, all of which provide a sense of how the pandemic has affected daily life, both for humans and animals. Patrick chose two of Glen’s suggestions to illustrate in his own signature MUTTS style. (You can see all of Glen’s descriptions, and Patrick’s drawings, here.)

Now, Patrick and Glen are joining forces to auction off the original art for one of the comic strips (shown above) to benefit an animal welfare organization in California, where Glen resides.

We look forward to sharing specific auction details with you in the near future.

Until then, we hope you’ll continue sending us your written and illustrated creations! Downloadable templates, along with information about where and how to send your art, can be found here.
