Our hearts are breaking for all the people and animals affected by the devastating wildfires in Southern California.
As a member of One Percent for the Planet, we always donate a portion of our sales to nonprofits that protect animals and the earth — and this month, we'll be sending these donations to Greater Good Charities (GGC), whose teams are on the ground now with local partners to deliver aid to people and animals in need.
Plus, when you shop at MUTTS.com this month, you'll have an option to add your own donation at checkout if you'd like to give, too.

HOW THESE DONATIONS HELP:
Right now, GGC is mobilizing its global network to deliver targeted emergency relief across Southern California's fire-affected regions. Their adaptive response system ensures critical humanitarian and animal resources reach communities when and where they're needed most. Their current actions include:
- Establishing a regional emergency supply network by activating multiple warehouses across Southern California. This distributed infrastructure allows GGC to rapidly redirect essential aid as evacuation zones shift and fire conditions evolve.
- GGC's ground teams are distributing urgent supplies (food, medications, and essentials) through established partnerships with communities, shelters, and the local government. These trusted relationships enable them to identify and respond quickly to emerging needs.
- Their teams are working with partners to coordinate transportation (air and/or ground) to relocate adoptable shelter pets to facilities within California and other receiving partners, ensuring local shelters can accommodate pets displaced by the fires.
Additionally, GGC's experienced disaster response teams are working directly with local partners to assess real-time needs and develop targeted solutions that maximize their impact in affected communities. They are prepared to respond dynamically to needs such as veterinary services for pets and horses, specialized medications, drinking water, nutritional support, and wildlife assistance.
