About the Books
The Gift of Everything is a heartwarming MUTTS picture book that explores the theme that “everything is a gift.” Mooch the cat searches for a perfect gift for his special friend Earl. But what is perfect? The book celebrates the beauty in the world — from animals and trees to friendship and quiet moments. Join Mooch as he sees the world around him with a fresh feeling of gratitude and discovers that life itself is full of gifts.
The Gift of Nothing (soon available in a special 20th anniversary edition!) is a NYT bestselling picture book about the importance of friendship and presence. It tells the story of Mooch the cat, who decides the most meaningful gift for his friend Earl is “nothing” — nothing, that is, except the gift of friendship and presence.
