MUTTS lovers in the NYC area will have two opportunities to meet Patrick McDonnell on Saturday, March 4 at adoption events hosted by the Petco Foundation!
These events — along with others set to take place at Petco locations across the country on the 4th and 5th — will kick off the Foundation’s month-long campaign titled “Love Changes Everything,” which aims to raise funds for animal welfare organizations.
Throughout the campaign (March 4 to April 2), pet parents making a donation of $10 or more at a Petco or Unleashed by Petco store checkout will receive a reusable shopping bag featuring MUTTS artwork, designed specifically for this occasion!
Want to meet Patrick on Saturday, March 4 (and have him autograph your reusable MUTTS bag)? He’ll be at the Union Square Petco (860 Broadway) from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00/noon and at the Turtle Bay Petco (991 2nd Ave.) from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
This is the Petco Foundation’s second year partnering with MUTTS to promote pet adoption across the country. “Patrick’s artwork designed specifically for our ‘Love Changes Everything’ campaign perfectly captures that emotional moment when you adopt a shelter animal,” says Susanne Kogut, executive director of the Petco Foundation. “[He] is a true lifesaving champion, spending his time promoting pet adoption nationwide in addition to supporting local organizations like New York City Animal Care and Control in their mission to save lives.”
